kly need cheap /reasonable camera Lumix TZ20 or FZ38?
Discussion
due to loosing my camera and waiting for insurance I could do with a cheap (read pre-owned) camera
looking at either Lumix TZ20 or FZ38
they are close as far as spec is concerned (in fact the smaller T has 1080 as opposed to the F having 'only' 720)
in the real world of point and shoot is there any nead to go with the larger FZ38? or is it that much better = picture quality

I have an FZ38... I like it for travelling with, but in some ways it's the 'worst of both worlds' between the 'large footprint' of an SLR and the image quality of a compact.
The big advantage does have over a normal compact is the EVF, which is pretty quick to respond - if you're happy just framing shots on a screen, I'd go with the TZ20!
