No big deal really. Instant upload to social media, every knows where you are and what you are doing and it's all forgotten within 48hrs.
As for using live view - I would guess if one is using manual focusing and has enough DoF available that totally accurate focusing is not too vital, there might be some benefit in being able to shoot over the top of other people's heads. Of course if everyone is doing it you would need to up the game to shoot over the top of other people's cameras ... but for now there may still be some mileage in it. Should work well with a kit lens. Well, as well as could be expected.
