Agfa transparencies

anyone seen these things before? At the MIL's last night and she digs out a packet with these things in, looks like they're from the mid sixties. They look like large negatives, about 3" x 4" , but are in colour. Said I look into getting them transferred into a digital format for her so they're not lost. Any recommendations on how or who could do that for me? TIA

You could probably get a decent result purely by setting them up on a lightbox and shooting them with a decent digital camera.

Then take the images into Photoshop or similar and invert them to get a positive image. You'll need to apply some colour correction in post to get accuracy though I should think.

Suggest getting a print of one frame as well to get a colour target for correction. Once you have that set of colour corrections in post, apply to all as an action. This will give you a basis to fine tune on.

This way, you don't have to send all of the originals away to be scanned.

Thanks Pixel, have neither a light box or a decent digital camera, well standard 5mp camera for family snaps etc. I was thinking of trying someone like this to transfer for me - http://www.digiscanltd.com - anyone used these or similar company?
