A day at Prescott

I have finally managed to go to Prescott Hillclimb... What an amazing place.... Took a while to get my panning skills up to speed... but managed to get some acceptable shots















Still trying to find out what the last car is....

Last photo is of a Leon-Peugeot single cylinder racer c.1909. The inevitable result of crazy regulations which favoured single cylinder engines in the small 'voiturette' class.

From memory, this single had a capacity over over 2 litres with a bore of approx 65mm and a stroke greater than 200mm..... Proof that the Engineers have always been one step ahead of the regulators.
