To find out which eye dominant you are hold a finger up at arms length with both eyes open and align it with a distant object. Keeping your finger still shut one eye, then reopen it and shut the other. You'll find with one eye open the alignment with the object will still be there, with the other eye it will appear to jump across. The eye which stays aligned is your dominant eye.

I've seen someone get a surprise when they did that test.LongQ said:
The vast majority of people, stumbling across your poll, would wonder what a 'viewfinder' is.
Such people do not qualify for the test

I've heard this, and also the 'floating sausage' test. However if I hold my finger up at a distant object, I see one distant object and two fingers... change to focus on finger and I get one finger and two distant objects... I just make it symmetrical...Simpo Two said:

It works either way, I just tried it.2slo said:

Right handed but left eye dominant for me.
Good combination. Practical but artistic, obviously - relating to the left/right side of the brain respectively....

Clockwise at first then with some effort made her her a/c - you need to look away, imagine her going to other way then look back.
Clockwise at first, but I can switch it anti-clockise too. I think switching is a skill I learnt from 3D CAD modelling, sometimes your brain gets confused viewing a wire-frame model (especially without a perspective view) and you need to force yourself to see it correctly.Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
