...with this. I'm not sure what to think of it......

I would have thrown it out but for these links:

http://www.badanwarisan.org.my/content/?cid=296

http://thestar.com.my/metro/story.asp?file=/2009/6...

http://petalingstreetstory.blogspot.co.uk/2009/06/...

I have no idea where to go to research this, google only turns up the links above really. Any ideas chaps? I'm lost if it hasn't got 4 wheels and an engine lol

Few more of whats inside....it does have the full set of ten as mentioned in the link though.

Google suggests a copy is held in the Malaysian National Library, but their database seems to be broken at the moment.

Probably worth getting it valued.

Finding out about it, and if it's worth anything - without wanting to sound mercenary, but I wouldn't object if it were worth a few beer tokens or car bits!

Not much I fear. You could take it along to your local reputable auction house and either leave it with them for sale or head off to eBay with their valuation. Unless it's by a 'known' artist don't expect much/anything.

Or contact the 'Buddest Temple in Nikko' pictured and ask them?

Wouldn't have the first clue where to start, but I'm in KL at the moment and could maybe swing by the National Library and see what they can tell me about it.

Feel free to drop me an email or PM.

I've managed to track down the guy mentioned in the article in the first link. Currently in conversation via email!
