Yeah but how many megapixels and what zoom lens did he use?

Hats off to the guy, some of those images are wonderful. As someone else on the internet said, he's created a new category called 'park and shoot'. hehe

I completely sympathise with what he says about everyone around having the same cameras and wanted to do something different. The problem with digital is the cameras and sensors are so good nowadays, everybody is churning out gazzilions of very good quality 'similar' pictures, with very little effort and limited knowledge. These days it seems to be piss easy for anyone to be a 'pro'.

If you enjoyed that, you may also enjoy this, a few clips about Robb Kendrick who uses the similar process of Tintype. The fact that the process can cause blindness, fatality and uses blow torches bestows huge respect for the pioneers of early photography (although he isn't so namby pamby to use protective suits, rubber gloves and gas masks). When the shot of the cowboy clears in the potassium cyanide, it's just pure and utter magic, something so lacking in boring as shyte modern digital photography.
