Mono Chrome film processing .... Where

I'm looking for recomendations on where to get my films processed. The local shop I used has now closed leaving me with a roll of film I'd dearly loved to get processed (a friends wedding) and another 9 rolls of Ilford in the fridge to use up. Tesco's and Morrisons don't do it (I can understand why as its not a high demand), and I have yet to find my local Jessops which apparently do.

I've always got good service from Peak Imaging, although I only use them for colour film, since I home dev B&W.

Home dev of black and white is very simple. You don't need a darkroom and can then scan the negs. It won't work for XP2 or any other C41 process black and white film though, just proper silver mono films. Depends on whether it's something you'll want to do beyond your remaining few rolls though, though the setup costs shouldn't be high.

I think I have delta's, without looking in my fridge I can't be sure, all I know is some boxes have green writing and some blue!

Green: HP5, Blue: FP4, Red/Black: Delta

It's only the Delta, though, that is the colour process, making it easier to get done at a lab.

Delta was Ilford's more modern film, equivalent to Kodak's T-Max (in the same that Tri-X and Plus-X were HP and FP equivalents). XP1 and XP2 are the C41 colour process films.

Ilford do them mail order, not exactly cheap though.

Depends on whether it's pushed or pulled any - a regular lab might struggle.

The right answer is 'do it yourself' (well, if you're going to do enough to make it worthwhile) - otherwise I've sent plenty of E6 slide film to 'The Darkroom' in Cheltenham, they do C41 and B+W too.
