PHoto Meet / PH 'tog meet

I know that this question has been posed before, by PGD5 I think, however, I was wondering whether it would be possible for the greater good of the P&V forum to arrange some kinf of PH Photography meet - not the same as the PH courses though, cos we all like free stuff.

With the longer nights and (hopefully) better weather approaching now seems like a good time to start looking at such an endeavour.

I'd say we're best organising one in York or Manchester, too.....

Thoughts?

Yeah I never took that idea very far did I.. happy to come along to a meet if I can make it.

Are we all going up to Malton on the 8th? Maybe make an informal gathering there somewhere?

Either location for me, it more depends on what shift I'm on at the time.

I'm not too sure about Malton atm, there's a chance somebody I know will have an entry on a rally at Cadwell Park that day.

You are of course welcome to my Yorkshire Big Breakfast, the only thing is I'll be working (of course) so won't be free to chat photography too much.

Happy to go out another day in addition, if any of you fancy an early morning coastal sunrise trip one day happy to show you some nice locations.

Whilst Manchester is closer id rather go to York where I've never been plus ive heard it's quite scenic.

Wow - totally forgot about this, I'll blame work and other such things.

I only really mentioned York and Manchester out of sheer selfishness I'm sure we could arrange a place which is convenient for all to attend.

My only issue is I don't have a weekend 'free' until the 19/20th of May, which is a tad bks.
