Cracking photos there mate, what set up you using?

Comming from a beginner, is there much difference between the 40D and 450D?

[Dogsey]

A fair amount, bigger and stronger body, faster frames per second, more controls on the body (better ergonomics). This gives all the differences.

I noticed on the 40D,50D and 60D there is a selection wheel and the 450D,550D there are bottons.. is this just ergonomic or for a different use?
