Canvas printing help & which ones ?

I'd like to get two of the below shots put on to canvas, probably 20" to 30" on the long side.

I've had some prints done of these and they are pretty close to what I see on screen. Is there anything I should be aware of when going to canvas ? do I need to change the pp (e.g. make the image brighter etc?)

Probably going to go to http://www.tradecanvasprint.co.uk/ due to good feedback on TP and reasonable prices. Any recommendations ?

Finally, which ones would you go for ? Full size images available on flickr if you'd like to see bigger (just click the image).

A lot on here use fluid images for any canvas prints. I can't remember his username but he is on this forum and everyone is always more than happy with the final results.

Tim played silly-beggars with me on price last year.

Also, on the previous delivery from him one canvas arrived with a patch missing any lacquer, so looked more matt / non-reflective than the rest (to be fair, because I waited until moving house to get it framed, I only spotted it several months after delivery, so I wasn't after a freebie from him).


...so I personally won't be using him again. Also heard good things about the OP's suggested provider - they're bookmarked for me to use next time.

Sorry Kinky - have to disagree with you there. If someone tries it on with regard to price, isn't that worthy of public knowledge??? Just because they're a PH'er doesn't make them beyond reproach. I was merely quoting Tim's own words - how is that 'not appropriate'???


McMacro - I know Tim is capable of very good work - this WOULD have been the third order from him by me, after all. But in the interests of balance I thought I should point out that he's far from perfect.

Shame you had an issue Martin. Can't fault Tim's work myself.

We can't all be perfect I suppose.

I've used edition canvas after a recommendation on here, I've got 7 prints of various sizes and they've been faultless. The service has also been really fast.
They're the only ones I've used other than photobox (not brilliant) and I'll continue to get my stuff printed by them.

I've just had a couple delivered from 'Wall Create' (http://www.wallcreate.com/ ) in Scarborough, really can't fault them for speed of service, price and results - excellent
