Canon has expanded its EF lens range with the addition of three new lenses – the EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM L-series standard zoom and the EF24mm f/2.8 IS USM and EF28mm f/2.8 IS USM lenses, which are the first ever wide-angle prime lenses to incorporate Canon’s Image Stabilization (IS) technology.

However the 24-70 better be good - price is expected to be about £1900.

Looks good - the 24mm prime will be on my shopping list providing its priced sensibly.

Not convinced about the wide primes with IS. OK they needed updating but the price is high, and mostly for video usage.

Wondering the comparison between the new 28mm f2.8 IS and the existing 28mm f1.8 @ f2.8 (which is £382.99 on amazon at the mo)

28/1.8 isnt that great at 2.8 in the corners but then the mtf on the new one isnt that flash either..
