Spots for shots

I may have missed it but are there any threads which list good spots to take shots? Preferably automotive, that way I know exactly where I'm going in this current unfriendly climate. Primarily London, but as I try to walk with camera at the ready, always good to know other areas I happen to fly by.

Not much help for automotive shots but I've found Google Maps reasonably good for finding more general locations. Picking up the street view person highlights individual photo's off the road taken with geotagging - which is pretty handy for getting an idea of the local geography.

This is a bit like the "show us your rig" question - anyone who has invested any decent amount of time finding good locations may be reluctant to share them.

Particularly if they are shooting commercially or professionally which a number of PH forum members do.

Personally I was never good enough at automotive photography to need to hide my rig or locations - neither of which were worth mentioning!

Yep its like asking a fisherman for his top spots.

Part of the 'job' is finding the locations.

I thought of that, but then I figured you would only disclose what you don't mind sharing, but point taken.

For the record, I do not want to see your rig Dobbo
