Recommendations for a £100 digital compact

Our Canon Ixus has just died and I could do with a quick replacement due to an impending trackday.

I'm after a good digital camera around the £100 mark that can also shoot reasonable movies (as it will get used on trackdays). However, photos of the kids and wife engaged in their various activities are of higher importance.

So if someone can either point me in the right direction of a good review site, or recommend a camera I'd be eternally grateful.
