The aurora is currently visible in parts of Scotland and Northern England.

I once saw this effect about ten years ago when i was outside my mums house in a remote part of aberdeenshire, having a smoke late at night.

She has never seen it in the twenty years she has lived there.

The moral to this story is: Non smokers enjoy life less than smokers.
