Free video editing software

Hi,

I need some free software to replace windows movie maker as this keeps resizing my videos and makes them look squashed

Surely that can be solved in the settings, you can make a video to what size and quality you want by changing settings in Windows Movie Maker.

How?

When you have done your editing as you want it, click on "Save to my computer" then click "Next" once you have done that click on "Other Settings" then you can save as the selection you pick (possibly the High quality video (Large)
Also under "tools" you can select if you want to save it in 4:3 or 16:9 ratio.

No, I was just asking if there was anything else out there and asking if its free because I work seaseonally, so at the moment I don't have much money
