Light painting my car

I can't find the thread this was originally posted on, but decided to have a go at light painting my car tonight.

Nikon D7000 on a tripod, 30 sec exposure, ordinary medium sized torch.

Different, anyway!



And this was using another camera as a flash in various places.

That lower one looks great!!

I must have another go at this now the weather is warmer and I've got a remote for the camera and so can use the "bulb" function.

I'm well into the Lightpainting of cars. I did a session with a car just lastnight infact, though I've yet to edit my way through them

ok, i am a bit of a photography noob. is this just a case of setting the tripod up, setting a long exposure and pointing a torch at it from different angles throughout the exposure time?

All mine are lightpainted using my bike light sat in a DIY box made from foamboard and black tape too. Hardly a blow to the bank account

Great effect with the Light sabre though
