My 2011

Evening all,

Hope you're all well and all set for the festive season.

Thought I would document my 2011 in photographic terms. First of all, it has been by far my quietest year yet, with maybe only 6 or 7 dedicated trips to taking photos - alot of these were shot with my 3 year old beside me. However I do feel after the previous 3 years of machine gun fire shooting, I have reached a level of maturity with my photography. Most of the shots below are processed with minimal post production - mainly because I like to feel connected to the image that I was witnessing at the time of capture, and also I process off a 10 inch notebook with st monitor colour management.

The main reason for it being a quite year, is new job, mental wife and this



Now 5 months old and with a chest infection... He is awesome though.

Most shots below are with an aperture of f16-f22, iso 100, 5dmk2, 17-40L lens, LEE filters and a manfrotto tripod - heck I only have 2 lenses and dont feel the need for any more. More filters will be my next purchase.
