Bloke HQ gets a bit quiet in the winter so I was idly poking around among my NZ photos from 05/06. At that time I had a Nikon D70 (most SLR users were still on film) and spent much time driving around with my head swivelling looking for opportunities - which in NZ are about every 200 yards. I hadn't quite got my head round RAW in those days but knew it was better for some reason. So whenever I came across something that looked like it had potential I shot in RAW.
This one lurked unprocessed until last month. It was taken in the Bay of Islands (somewhere between Paroa Bay and Parekura Bay) and was probably only a few yards from the roadside. I just like the greeness and the sense that you can walk into it.
