Gorillapod DSLR zoom for £7.96 (I think!)

It doesn't call it a Gorillapod DSLR zoom, but the specs and pictures are the same and they accept returns so I'm going to give it a punt on eBay link

I've got the exact same one. It's ok. Not sure how it compares to the original joby ones though. I don't know if i'd trust wrapping it around anything though. I decided to get a tripod from argos as well. One on there for about £14 and it's pretty well built for the money imho.

Seems like one key difference between that and the Joby one is the removable connection between the camera and the tripod. I don't know the correct term, but basically on the joby one the thread screws into the base of the camera, but can unclip from the tripod, and clip back in. Means you can separate the camera from the tripod more quickly, as you don't have to undo the screw.
