Sony SLT (SLRs)

Anyone got one of these and use them regularly?

I've had a Canon 500D over the past 2 years and mostly lost interest in photography. But recently got a job selling Sony camera's and find them quite impressive to use (but not as nice to hold). I don't know much about them but find a lot of people have a keen interest so wondered what the general usage was on here with them and general opinion after long term ownership (as opposed to playing in a shop).
