Free Editing Programs

I use Lightroom for all my editing but its a bit limited in where I can place my watermark on the photo, is there any free editing programs that will do this better?
All I need it for really is adding a small watermark wherever I want it.

Using a Mac.

Have you seen or tried http://pixlr.com/editor/
It might do what you need?
Alternatively if it had been Windows there are plenty of free watermarking (and batch watermarking) programs. Try googling for Mac equivalents.

Thanks but that one doesn't seem to do it.

Lightroom can almost what I want, add a png file as a watermark but its just fussy where I can put it.
