Best Tripod for £100

Title says it all. I make do with a host of crap tripods and my Gorillapod for everything and I can't do it anymore. My missus wants me to pick a Christmas present and so a tripod it must be.

Tripod for £100. Which one and why?

I've got a Manfrotto 190XDB which was about £90 when now defeunct misses purchased it for me a few years ago. Very good and sturdy but you obviously need to buy a head as well which will probably puch any decent tripod out of range.

I currently have a Manfrotto 804RC2 and a 701 video head.

Since buying the video head the 804 hasn't been used. Much easier to adjust and follow a subject if you are using it for that sort of thing.

A Manfrotto 190XPROB and 804RC head is what I use, cost me £150 and I think its great, very sturdy.

Doesnt go as low as I would have liked for some car shots though.

I've been looking at that carbon fibre Manfroto tripod (not specifically from Jessops) it looks a good spec and a lot lighter than steel/aluminium. Anyone got one like this (pic below) who'd care to comment?

If buying new, I'd go along with this.

(I bought a very good Camlink a couple of months ago on eBay for around 10% of the new price, and it arrived with the shop tags still attached. Redsnapper is what I would have bought had I been in the market for a new one.)
