Tips for motorshow photography?

Hi guys

Took a few shots after setting up the display yesterday and just wondering if there are any settings on the camera to try adjusting to make the colours abit better as they tend to come out abit yellow? still a noob to all this really so any tips would be much appreciated

change the whitebalance to reflect the light that you have.

White balance or use flash (I tend to like to use a slow-ish shutter speed and use the flash to fill in and provide more accurate colour)... failing that go into Photoshop and adjust your colour balance so you end up with something like this...

The yellow tinge means that's probably sodium or halogen lights. You need to put the camera on auto white balance or set the white balance to "halogen" or something equivalent on the menu setting to correct it. Or if you have a manual white balance adjustment experiment with a lowish colour temperature setting (eg. 2500-3000). Or shoot in RAW not JPEG and process the images out of the camera.
