I quite like it.

It could easily be a piece of art with the striking lines (think Olympic posters ), but is actually a photo of the Rhein.

That looks like the kind of 'snap' which, if put on a novices section of a photography forum by someone like me, I'd fully expect to be told don't give up your daytime job and don't come back until you've got something interesting to show us.
Reminds me of the story I read last week about a cleaner at an art gallery throwing out what she (not unreasonably) thought was a pile of rubbish consisting of some packing case type timber and a paint tray when it was actually a piece of modern art valued at, I think, £640,000.
Firstly, how does anyone put a value on stuff like these and secondly, who would buy it? I suppose the answer is since I don't understand I should just

how the F*** is it work that much, say you were with this guy when he took the photo and you took one in the same place, you then ps the same as he has, your photo would be worth st yet he sells his for $4.3m!!!!!!

The REALLY annoying thing is... I was taking shots like his 20 years before him (for my degree - arty horizontal lines) and as it was all film (long since gone), I have no way of proving he ripped me off!

I'm currently having to study a module in the philosophy of art, and such 'wonders' are commonplace. If the right guy does just about anything that gets publicity, it'll go for a fortune. Even down to a urinal that someone didn't even make themselves.
