10 Stop Filter

I really want a 10 stop filter but cant afford a Big Stopper, is there any cheaper alternatives?

I cant seem to find one to fit in a Cokin holder.

I have tried welding glass but didnt like it.

Hitech do a 10 stopper for £60 which is pretty reasonable.

I've got the Hitech, it is much better than the earlier Hitech 10 stop having a gasket to stop light leaks. It does have a colour cast but it is not irretrievable. I bought it as my Big Stopper has been on back order since May!

£60 doesnt sound too bad, where did you get yours from Mark?

Iv just received the Hi-Tech 10 stopper, as the waiting list for the Lee was huge! It works well and the colour cast is easily removed. Alternatively you could try welding glass!

Just looked on Teamwork and it says I will need a Hitech holder for it, does anyone know if it will fit in my Cokin holder?

Which cokin holder do you have? Hitech do an 85mm and a 100mm.

Im not sure to be honest, I think it may be the 85mm.

Formatt are quite helpful if you need to ask any questions. However, wherever you end up ordering from, do ensure that they have physical stock in as Formatt themselves seem to have quite a back log, presume a knock on effect of the Lee supply problems. Like Mark, I got mine from Teamwork and they were excellent.

The Hitech filter is very good though, I'm sure you'll not be disappointed.

P series is 85mm, Z Pro is 100mm.
