Processing images?

Hi everyone, I have got to process / convert to cmyk .tif format a load of RAW images shot on a Canon and a Lica. I have made my selections using ExpressionMedia.
I would be really keen to here any advice on the above really. The shots are a mixture of lifestyle and action, taken in a variety of weather conditions. Previously I would open every image and manually check settings and appearance on a calerbrated monitor. However, I have been thinking that maybe I should set some kind of multiple batch thing up? Is this possible, and if so what is the best way to go about it?

Batch processing RAW files defeats the object of shooting in RAW IMHOI would be really keen to here any advice on the above really. You can only batch process RAW with set settings if the shots are all closely related. However, if they are not related you are just wasting your time with any sort of batch processing. Essentially light will be different, reflection angles will be different, shadows will be different, etc.

Within the entire population you might be able to copy and paste some basic settings for one to its near relations, but especially if you add in some cropping, straightening and some curves to adjust dynamic range you're pretty much stymied on shortcuts to the workflow
