What camcorder

Righty ho, knowing absolutely nothing about camcorders, any suggestions on a reasonably priced good HD camcorder.

I dont want all the whistle and bells, don't want to take stills, got the Canon for that, just one that takes videos, with a good resolution on play back on my HD telly.

I was thinking of the Yashica CMH50, 5 mega pixels.

All I need it for is visitds oz, and take some good vids of my visit, and family over there.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
