Will my lenses from the D70s fit the D5100 as well? I wouldnt like to have to replace them as well.
Yes, but bear in mind that the D5100 doesn't have an internal AF motor so your lenses would need to be AF-S (or third party equivalent) to auto focus on the D5100. Again, the D7000 is better in that regard...Oops, didn't want to put you off but always best to be armed with the facts. You just have to think carefully as although the D5100 will undoubtably do some wonderful things that your D70 can't, you will be moving from a 'prosumer' or whatever Nikon call it to essentially the current entry level (I realise there is the D3100 as well), in terms of controls at least.
The D5100 is a great camera but has been deliberately positioned below the D7000 in the Nikon range. The D7000 follows the lineage of the D70 and as such is broadly similar in terms of handling and control although obviously the tech inside has changed dramatically and high ISO and IQ have obviously moved on a lot.
The D5100 has the same sensor as the D7000 and hence IQ and ISO performance are excellent. But you lose things like the second control wheel on the front, the top LCD info screen, the external MA/AF toggle, the focus mode switch, the internal focussing motor, flash commander etc... If you're used to using these, you might just miss them.
On the other hand the D5100 does have the articulated screen which may be useful for some and the video mode is meant to be very good.
