79' Scirroco 1300 Turbo

Shot these the other night outside the unit I share with the owner of this car and a few other lads. First time I've ever lit a car before. Plan was to use a soft box on the main light and bounce the rest off nearby buildings. Used 3x500WS heads. Predictably not much of the 500WS came back so ended up shooting at high ISO's.

Shame really as I quite like the effect compared to the rear 3/4 which was lit directly.

Thing with photographing the car at night was I wasn't able to light the horizontal surfaces indirectly. In future I'll just light use the flash as a main and ambient fill. That way you won't get the dead spots.

Nice one adz. Stands out from your usual blinging bay and BBS RS combo doesn't it? Love the contrast personally.
