Insurance for camera gear

With my recent purchase I've realised that the cost of replacing my gear if it all goes badly wrong would be more than my house insurance is likely to pay out.
So I'm looking at insuring it all, who are you guys using?

I (obvously) won't need professional cover or need to go anywhere scary it's more theft or my own clumsyness I'm worried about.

Recomendations?

I use Photoguard and have to date been pleased with them, although I've not tried the critical test and claimed.

Also worth checking your home contents insurance, might be cheaper to add specific items to that.

Used to use Aaduki, cost about £200 p.a. for £8.5k's worth of cover. Added to household cover this year for about £3 a month.

I use Glover and Howe for kit, public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Claimed a few times for dropped lenses and the like and never had a problem.

Looks like household may be the way forward for me as I don't need anything but hteft and accidental.
I'll have to look into that one once I get home and find out who we're insured through...

Proper insurance for the studio and studio lighting equipment et al. As for camera gear its on home contents at the moment.

Got my Home insurance extended this year to cover my gear - Cheaper than "specialist" insurance
