Are you referring to a suction mount rig?

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe. Assuming the carbon had been lacquered or painted then the suckers would work.

yes suction mounts. i thought that too but just wanted to double check before i go and mount a very expensive car!

Well just to make myself clear, I haven't ever used a rig. Especially on a cf body, so don't take my word for it.

I would say it depends on the weight of the rig and where you're putting the suction mounts but the same common sense should still apply though I think your main problem will be flexing.

On the whole you'll have no problem with suction pads. In my experience though, when you do have a problem it can be a big one
