Photo Licensing

Bit of advice required from the pros here. I've had an email through requesting the use of a photo I took of the London Eye. I've copied the email below:
<< My name is xxxxx I deal with all the press and media for Pride London and was responsible for getting the Eye lit up like a Rainbow, my official photographers unfortunately never made it down to the eye (they'd been working since 8am!) I was wondering if you'd let us put the image on our facebook page? Would of course include credit information and happy to include a link to your flickr page or website, we have 12,500 people on facebook so could be good exposure for you. We have WorldPride next year and I'd also love to be able to use your image in future marketing on our website. Any time we use the image we'd of course include your credit info. How does that sound to you? It's a great shot I'm just glad someone made it down there! Kind regards >>
Great that they want to use it, am I being unreasonable to ask them for a payment?
What does the PH collective think is a reasonable amount?
And finally does anyone have a template for licensing a picture that I could ask them to sign?

Bet the official togs weren't working for free.
Not unreasonable to ask for payment, particularly as they'd hope to use it ongoing. There's a page on http://www.londonfreelance.org with license and payment guidelines but they are just that. If you value the charity, feel free to slash the rate but tell them you're doing that.
Great exposure? Try obtaining your next lens only by promising the camera shop you'll tell your friends where it came from.

Isn't the London Eye one of those silly copyrighted locations that you can't use for commercial reasons.
ETA - THey seemed to have removed that now. I originally recall them being arsey about photos being used for commercial uses. It still seems that if you want to 'officially' photograph on the south bank you need to write and advise two days in advance. What a palaver - it's a public place - do what you want.
