June Challenge - On the Road - Discussion

Time for the June Competition, i'm leaving the country tomorrow for a european road trip hence the very prompt start to this months challenge as i may not be able to get internet access for a little while.
It's also the inspiration for this months theme "On the Road." This theme is supposed to be loosly interpreted, so interesting intepretations would be good to see.
And a reminder of the rules,
- The shot MUST be taken this month, with the closing date being midnight on the 31st of May.
- The exif must be posted with your shot.
- Keep the images posted to a decent size please, 1024px wide max.
- I'll choose the winner this month (with the winner choosing the theme for next month, then deciding who should win that months)
- The Challenge for next month should be generic, as not everyone has access to zoom, macro, specialist lenses. It should be shots that everyone is capable of achieving with the bare essentials.

Hi Mike, We drove from england to Mulheim in the black forest of germany for a night, then onto a village south of zurich, followed by 9 nights in Lake Garda, italy. We went across to venice for a night and then back up through Austria to Stuttgart, and finally a night in bruges. A very good trip, but unfortunately we didnt come across enough good driving roads due to time/petrol cost restrictions. I was the only petrol head on the trip and so enjoying the driving wasn't high on anyone else's prioroties 
. Even so Switzerland and Austria had some pretty tasty roads just following the sat navs "fastest route" Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
