That's probably from when they opened it isn't it and tens of thousands of people went?

There's an info board near the bridge that (iirc) says there was so many people on there that the bridge actually flattened out and the engineers were starting to get nervous that the weight of them was going to bring the whole thing down. I was dubious at the idea that people would weigh more than traffic so I checked the numbers and oh yeah, they absolutely can. Quite a scary thought.
