Wow, these pics look great.

I reckon the world always looks better from a drone.

It's been lovely around here recently

Upton Towans to Godrevy

Hell's Mouth

And from when the weather wasn't as good, Trevithick day

Sennen and Land's End

We're building a house at the moment, so most of the time I've been taking photos of that with the drone.

If I get down there soon, perhaps, but I will avoid it like the plague in the summer.

DJI Air 3 looks really good.

6 years into my current drone, time to update methinks.

Sadly I have a tax bill the size of Dover to pay this week, so it'll have to wait. (Oct. probably).

If anyone gets one... do let us know how it performs. Especially stills.

Grabbed this the other day; Tollesbury, Essex. The shapes are the remnants of Iron Age and Roman salt production. They extend way beyond what you can see and largely unnoticeable at ground level.

Very nice, really like that!

We are away in Pembrokeshire, home of some of the must stunning coastal scenery in the UK. Yesterday we were here (phone photo from my Pixel phone)

So naturally I've bought the drone with me. At home I charged all three batteries, charged the controller, packed it all up carefully, made sure I had everything ready.

After spending a couple of hours on the beach with the kids and dog, I snuck off to get some drone footage without the kids knowing because they are annoying and want to fly it. After climbing up some steep dunes and cliffs, I got the drone out, set it all up, checked everything, checked it again, took off, pressed record .....

No SD card inserted.

Ah yes I know where it is! Plugged into my computer at home hehe

Work had a leak, none of the pipes were leaking and seeing as i have a drone, i was asked if i would send it up to have a look at the guttering.
Not an interesting picture by any stretch of the imagination but was fun, had my immediate Boss as spotter and i got to fly my drone on work's time and all whilst being paid.

Last year they had a company come in to go up in a cherry picker and inspect the roof, this year they wanted £4000 to do the very same. Whereas this way, they don't have to pay these people that money and it creates good will when i want to leave early some time

I took my original Mavic there a few years back!

Spot the old, bald idiot with the drone

And whilst one of my step daughters neighbour's was repairing the damaged bumper on our Kia

And extra points for those who have identified the location from the buildings in the background.
Got loads more from this trip away but will save them for another time.

That is an utterly gorgeous yacht. I bet it looks awesome in person under full sail.

By the way, if you don't see a pic, it's Thumbsnap, not me.

Only really flown my holystone 175d a couple of times. But this shot is from our house looking towards Ryde pier.

I am quite impressed with it given the price point.

I've never heard of one of those before, but the specs do look very good and are they really only £200??

I've wanted a Mavic 3, because of photos like the above, but just can't justify the price. So the Holystone may be worth a look? Any more feedback aboiut how it flies, camera etc?
