Has anyone played it yet?

It looks right up my street but I've not been able to play it yet due to patching issues that I've not been able to resolve yet.
Essentially it's a Free-to-play space combat sim along the lines of Freelancer and x-series (although it looks a little less involved than X. PVE seems to be the focus at the moment but it does have PVP built in.
