Can i use my iphone as a wireless ps3 keyboard ..

I've posted this in the gadgets aswell but thought somebody here might know.

Like the title says really, is it possible to use my Iphone as a wireless keyboard for my PS3? I'm sure i've read it was possible but a quick Google says not.

Yes if it's jailbroke you just need to Download Webe++ or if it's not jailbroke there is Webe Bluetooth mouse on the app store but I'm not sure if that one does the PS3

I've used Webe++ on my jailbroken iPhone 4 and it works OK, if you use your phone to connect to bluetooth in your car though you need to remember to turn the bluetooth back on again in the settings menu once you've finished, as it disables the phone's bluetooth stack when running and doesn't re-enable it afterwards.

Unless you sit miles from the screen a £5 USB computer keyboard (and if necessary a £2 USB extension lead) is a much better way of inputting text, Webe++ doesn't implement the iPhone's autocorrect and doesn't display what you're typing on the phone screen, so you have to keep looking up and checking the PS3 screen for errors. There's also no arrow keys to navigate the cursor over existing text so unless you're very precise with your typing and watch the PS3 screen all the time to see what you're typing (generally mutually exclusive actions on a touchscreen) it can still be a bit of a chore correcting typos in long paragraphs having to use the joypad to navigate.
