Really liking the sound of the Xbox Kinetic toy, is there an equivelant for PS3, and anyone on here used it?

Playstation Move. Although I don't think it is as advanced. Ie No Voice control.

Not played on either though, So perhaps someone else could aid you..

no the move is like the Wii controlers whereas the kinect is a camara.

Move has a camera: http://www.amazon.co.uk/PlayStation-Move-Starter-C...

Why do you think it has a bright ping-pong ball on the end of the controller?

Move is amazingly accurate due to the camera and controller combination. In the table tennis game you can put spin on the ball just like in real life.

"Move" you look like a nob flayling about with a gay looking "ice cream" in your hand.

"kinect" you look like a nob flaying about.

biggrin

I have both, both work well in there own way

We've got move at home. Got it for my 5-year-old.

It's ooooookay I guess. On the games we have so far (mostly demos) you have to calibrate the icecream thing everytime, which means lookiing at a grainy imagine of yourself looking like a tool which puts me right off, plus you seem to need to use the icecream plus a normal controler for most games which means I have to sit around like a knob pointing a mouses torch at clouds for hours on end.

If I find Santa I'm going to have a stern word to him about gifts that require Dad to spend time trying not to swear as the boy falls off the end and dies for the 27th time.

I think he means will sony produce something that will be relatively in the same league as kinect.

Answer: No wink

This answer is biased tho as i only owned a PS3 for all of two weeks in 2009, i am commonly known as a xbox fanboy. biggrin

Sorry guys... I was taking it that the Move is not as good as Kinetic, and wanted to know if they were going to be an upgrade to improve it to the standard of Kinetic, I realise now that this is not needed... and will return to my box forthwith...

Same with the Kinnect, pretty much addicted to table tennis - top spin, back spin, behind the back, under the legs, moving around the table - love it!biggrin
