GT5 Favorite Car For 550pp?

Just going through my garage and looking to sort some of my colection for 550pp Racing. Got my 82 Quatro up to 508pp but kinda regreted it as it now handles like I have a dead cow nailed to the radiator.
Just wondered what everyones favorites were?

I started with the M3 CSL and tuned it up to 550 and its v. fast but twitchy. My 430 Scud detuned is however fantastic, handles well and stable. I refuse to drive anything Japanese so no GTR's for me.

For the 480PP, nothing seems to be able to touch the Evora.

I now have a Supra RZ that I'm looking forward to getting in some 550pp races with. I dont want to go down the obvious CLS, R8 route so try to pick cars that are a little different.

Thats why I tunned my Quatro to the max. Big regret, I've ruined a classic. I think i'd be better off making it a 480pp

The R8 seems to be the one I have most trouble keeping up with but my favourite is a Spec C Impreza at the moment, it's the 480PP cars I'm struggling with.

I'm not sure detuning is in the spirit of 550 really. We should have a higher class setup as well if people want to drive Mega cars.

Agreed, I feel its more about what you can create with lesser cars. More sense of acheivment

I agree - tried this only the other day and it's only slightly detuned, but it sounds great, handles benignly and goes like the clappers.

I also like my fluoro lime green TTS - on twistier tracks it's pretty epic: turns in beautifully so you can get the power down early.

I've tried an assortment of RWD 550s and on sports softs with the skid correction off - which is how we usually race - they're too twitchy for me on the pad. Time-trial they might be faster but when the red mist descends and people are moving about on the track, you need a good stable car.
