Crysis 2 for PS3 or something else?

Having completed COD: Black Ops and getting a bit bored with the multi-player game, I’m looking for a new PS3 game to buy.
Due to work and family commitments I don’t find time to play much, so I am looking for something with a decent single player story mode but not too complex, so that it can be picked up and played for a couple of hours and then left for a week or more without me forgetting what I was meant to be doing and having to start again etc.
Being able to play on-line with friends (like Black Ops) is also important, as is the ability to do a 4-player team based game when my mates come round.
Is Crysis 2 likely to fit that bill, and if not, can you make some recommendations? I tried Battlefield: Bad Company 2 a while back, but couldn’t get into it.
