GT5 online - Grrrr

So I've just spent the last hour trying to get on any bloody race. If I join during 'free run' then as soon as the race starts it kicks me. If I join as the race is going I can watch it fine, however once it's over the name bars on the right go grey with the flowing bar on every name bar mine.

Anyone else having this problem? All I want to do is one blimmin race!!

I wonder if it's due to your internet being rubbish? I imagine the same sort of thing might cause some kind of delay on forums, causing you to post the same thing many times.
