I was in a HQ game last night and there were 2 level 15 prestige players with gold guns on the other team. I thought it was odd that they were appallingly bad players with one of them ending up with 13 kills and over 30 deaths (and yes their connection was good). I looked at their profile to see their stats after the game and it all seemed to odd. 1 win and 1 loss, Played 6 days, 19 hours, 22mins. Top prestige in 6 days with only 1 win???? yeah sure, and the icing on the cake was a K/D of 1.0 which lets face it, isn't legit if you're that good you do all prestige in 6 days..

Both players were reported by all party members so lets hope something gets done...

Anyone else seen any hacks yet?? I've seen a couple of possible aimbots but not much else. It makes a refreshing change to play a COD game without all the faggot hackers ruining it for everyone else. Like Black Ops or not, a non hacked game is a more fun game..

TBH it doesn't bother me in the slightest if people hack their scores. However, if they affect me with aimbots, glitches etc then I'd report them.

There is a glitch at the moment in the game that allows you to prestige over and over when you reach level 50, its on Youtube. Not Hacked as such, just exploited!

agree with you there, it didn't bother me as like you say, it wasn't a hack to improve their gameplay but I just think that if you were going to do this then surely you would make your stats look more realistic than that.. just shows how dumb these people are..

aimbot is a hack that assists you in aiming. An extreme version was used on COD4, you can see videos on youtube, it automatically locks in on targets thus enabling faster killing.. some of them come with laser sights..

My lads been moaning about this, apparently COD4s been hacked too? All the online games he was trying to join were full of Level 55(? I think) people who didn't have a clue what they were doing.

This is on PS3.

COD4 is dead. One of the best COD games in the series IMO. Totally hacked now, mainly by a useless fag called Matto (find him on Youtube). You join a hacked lobby and it screws up your stats, aswell as completing your challenges and making you Level 55.

Hackers and glitchers ruin everything. They take it too seriously to try and be 'the best' but it's just a game.

Anyway, new PS3 FW out today, bricks all consoles who've hacked or has CFW on it. Serves them right

I must say that Treyarch have been given a lot of stick in the past, but hats off to them for actually trying to tackle the issue of hackers and glitches... more than can be said for other companies.

There has been two prestiges hacks so far on this game the first was when the game come out and then another about two weeks ago. There's also been a gold gun glitch what let's you get the gold gun camo at any level.
All have been patched tho!

I'm afraid not because the hackers are just reverting back the sony's 3.55 firmware and then updating to 3.56 so there console is working fine and they still have there hacked patches installed aswell.
There's also an simple exploit where you can not update your ps3 but still use it online without any problems.

I'm getting pissed off with Black Ops these days.

Seems too common now to be in a game with players who just seem to have about a second on anything I do.

They pop round a corner, I empty about 6 bullets straight into them and then 1 shot from them and I'm dead. I watch their kill cams and it bears no timing sync to what I've just seen.

To them, it seems they pop round the corner and empty about 6 shots into me whilst I've only got 1 shot off at them.

So annoyed with it now that I usually only play a couple of games before I get so fked off with that I give up.And this doesn't just happen once, it's usually after getting blasted like this about 5 times that I get the hissy hump and leave the game.

Can't see the point in playing if it's sooo far off. I mean for fks sake, I need all the help I can get not this kind of handicap.

Not seen any 'real' hacks yet though.

Only cts hack

Alot of people hack for legit reasons such as to run OS software like you originally could do on the ps3 and to play ps2 games.
So your comment isn't really true is it, but saying that alot of the hackers are cheating lil s tho.

Key word there is XBox, the PS3 has been cracked wide open and Sony seem to be trying to fix the equivalent of a fatal stabbing with a few plasters and some savlon.

I'm new to PS3 and COD, only got it a couple of weeks ago.

I have only been onto the online games a couple of times, but my status has been changed from 1 to 55 which I don't actually want. I would prefer to 'earn it'

How can I get back to 1?

Also last night I recieved a downloading software meaasge and the game after that was at about double speed and I had unlimited ammo and never needed to reload. Anyone know what that is about?

People who cheat their prestige levels always make me laugh. Not seen too many on Black Ops yet (a few) but there used to be loads on MW2. The funniest thing is when you're 'only' prestige 2 or 3 etc, and you and the rest of your team finish ahead of all the top prestige players.. Always makes me feel just that little bit better about winning
