My wii fit balance board is not working. Well out of warranty and well used. So I bought another one which is working perfectly. My dilemma is what to do with the old one.

Should I

1. Try to get it working again and sell it?

2. Sell it as faulty.

3. Throw it away.

Does anyone know how much option 1 would cost or who would do such a repair. Are these things hard to fix - ie. If I took it apart would I be able to get it back together again?

Does anyone know anywhere which buys faulty electrical goods - my 8 year old mobile phone still has value with these envirophone people; however, I can't find anywhere which would buy the balance board.

Option 3 seems a bit of a shame. There may be only a minor fault with it which means that it won't turn on (yes, I have checked and double checked the batteries).

Any ideas or views welcome.

Call nintendo to see how much they would repair it for, or just sell it on eBay as faulty.

Or perhaps google / go on wii forums and find out if there is a common fault with the boards. If it's pretty common then there may be a cheap and easy fix out there that people have developed themselves (just like with the guitar hero controllers).
