GT5......"networks are incompatible"

or once in a room "you have been disconnected from the server"

I get these messages with a few here on GT5, yet I can join any random lounge I select from the open list and stay in the room for as long as I wish

my router settings are the same as they have always been...on XBL I have zero problems joining lobbys or hosting them in Forza3, F1 2010, all the COD games, all the Project gotham games etc.. etc.

I went through my settings last night (on both the router and PS3) everything is as it should be according to Playstation website and forum...my NAT is type 2


any ideas?
anyone else getting these connection issues with GT5?

I have only had the problem once before when I was trying to join a room you had set up for the 333bhp races. The strangest thing about that was that I had joined a room you have set up before. The only difference I can think of is if it happens only for private rooms. I had no problems last night with the open room you were in and I joined using your community coffee cup thing. Good racing last night, but how bloody quick was Madduck?!

yeah you were in with me ok last night in the SuperGTs ...he is mega quick...good races with those guys

I also have NATS Type 2 but i have had some trouble joining your room blade and i think you had trouble joining mine last night

I deleted a few known clashes off my friends list..this seems to have helped me join rooms they are in

so if you have gone from my Friends list, it is nothing personal

already had a barrage of messages over night (I'd left my little ducklings doing the 9hr tskuba race so was signed into PSN all night)
