Specs of my PC:

2.06GHZ AMD Athlon
128MB DDR/400MHZ/128bit NVidia FX2000 (would have loved a better video card but my dad chose it
512MB DDR
120GB HDD w/ 10GB used (mostly for Windows and a few apps like Office Suite, adaware, partition magic)
Decent monitor, speakers etc

Considering I'm going to do EVERY tweak (as on tweakguides.com and the official forums) to squeeze out the best performance of the game, what frames can I get - minimum in a busy outdoor environment? Someone I know who owned the game, lots of plugins, and same spec PC said he got 45fps minimum? I'm going to run a lot of mods too. Only about 5-10 will be HUGE like Tamriel Rebuilt, Silgrad Tower, Sea of Destiny etc.

Sorry for making a thread with the same point as below (for UT2004), but I want to get a few PC games and I'm only going to do so until I'm certain the game will run to a satisfactory level.

I've also made this thread on the official forums.

Thanks

Hi,
I missed this thread first time around.
I have to admit I'm a complete dinosour when it comes to computers so bare that in mind when I say that I think your systen will be fine. I've got a Dell Dimention 4600 3Ghz etc. etc. and it's brilliant.

No problems with the late reply.

Hmm...

I've been told the game should run pretty well on my system by other players and the game designers so your statement is 'founded', but what about when I have mods? Like I said, I'm gonna choose mods which don't lag the game like Atmospheric Sound Effects (very good mod I heard too, no pun intended, but big file and laggy, some say best mod for MW ever)and make every possible tweak, big and small, significant and insignificant in effect. I'm worried about the frames I'll get with mods - especially the big landmass mods.

You say it's brilliant but do you mean your PC or the game? Your PC sounds brilliant but the game is too lol. I've actually got withdrawal symptoms from it.

Must...play...Morrowind (with mods, and the GOTY edition with 2 expansion packs and TES Construction Set for £20 from Amazon...bargain).

Just do it!

The game is good but my PC is brilliant. I used to play on a PC that was made before dinosours roamed the Earth (or at least it seemed like that) and enjoyed the game so I'm sure you'll have no problems. Martin.
