GT5 Signature SLS AMG Competition

Are any PHers entering the GT5 Signature competition to win a Merc SLS AMG?

The competition opened a few days ago and will end on January 31st 2011.

If you are entering, what kind of gaming setup do you have? I will be entering just using the normal wireless controller as I don't have any steering wheel controls.

I hadn't even seen it had started... will check it out later, am in the same situation in regards to controls.. let me know how you go..

Isn't the competition in b spec? don't need a steering wheel to tell the guy to speed up or slow down .

yup, the in game side of the competition is completed/competed in B-Spec mode. If you get through that you enter into the real driving side of the competion in real cars.

Ah yes it is B-spec. I've decided I can't be bothered with it... I tried B-Spec last night and it is mind-numblingly boring and I don't really understand how it works.

You tell the driver to increase, decrease, or maintain pace. Or overtake. The more instructions you give him the more he gets wound up and gets it wrong, and why does he even need you to tell him what to do in the first place? Can't he just work it out that the idea of the race is to get to the pole position.

It's laughable that your chances of winning the car all rest with a randomly generated virtual driver at first.

You guys should sell your competition entry on Ebay if you're not going to bother using it.

B-Spec is a bit of a grind at first, but then your driver starts winning you decent cars (Ferrari F40, Pagani Zonda R) and decent money and it starts to get interesting!
