Of those, I only own F1 and GT5. F1 is pooh. So, GT5 it is!

I really don't get all the fuss over GT5?

I speak as someone who went out and bought a PS3 a couple of weeks ago mainly so I could play this, and well... I hate to say it, but it's not a patch on Forza 3?

Yes it's very pretty, (although I'm not so sure it's that much prettier than Forza in a lot of respects), and has a good spread of cars, but gameplay wise it's not in the same league... and that's what's most important surely?

Then there's the tuning section - all the cars to date I've had on there, the receipe is the same:

'Enter racing class... realise standard car isn't quite good enough... apply the same mods which cost the same whatever they're for... try same race again, win'.

BORING, and the handling model isn't all that either.

If anyone is desperate to try it out for themselves, I've no intentions of keeping the PS3!

(Conversely, I found Medal of Honor Tier 1 absolutely brilliant on it, if a little short in one player mode)

We did a voting post not long ago where everyone said their top three, this Is the actual voting instead of nominations.

In a way, I have to agree, and I have bought and played through every GT game. Having a poll about the best game when this has just been released will have quite a bit of bias in it, as right now, everyone is playing and drooling over GT5 - reminds me of Robbie Williams winning the 'Singer of the Millenium', beating Sinatra, Elvis etc, just because he was at the height of his (short lived) popularity!

GT5 is very good and I like it a lot - and I will no doubt spend many more hours playing it, but I have to say, I am disappointed with the graphics - Grid and Dirt 2 look better on the PC - and I haven't witnessed load times this long since the Spectrum ZX

GT5 came out a month ago and is not even finished!


But B:BC2 is excellent, Vietnam included!

Bu Fallout is still better!

Only got three nominations earlier in the month and was some way off making the top 5.

Was Dragon Age Origins 2010 ? if so that.

If not then NBA2K11. It's just incredible for a sports game. IGN gave it 9.5

Fallout New Vegas has been the best this year, with Red Dead: Redemption in second. I think I'd be hard pressed to put GT5 in the top 20, and F12010 wouldn't even register!
