Zavvi Delivery

I placed an order with Zavvi on the 13th of this month and i now have an estimated dispatch date of the 22nd. But seeing as what i have ordered is a Christmas present, i would like know from peoples past experiences from using Zavvi is will the item arrive before Christmas? And do they send out there item 1st class?

send an email/query, i ordered F1 2010 game from them ages ago and a couple days ago got an email from them :"sorry to advise there's been an issue with the batch of discs blah blah so we wont be able to deliver in time for xmas..
by way of apology for the long delay have negotiated a refund of £5 after despatch of your order"


may be worth an email saying it was an importan xmas pressie?

mines not a pressie, its just for me but i'll take the fiver thanks very much

Already emailed them asking when the item is likely to be delivered and i have had no reply even tho it says emails are answered within 24 hours.
Ive debating whether to cancel to order and pay the extra in the shops or sit back and hope.

Thanks for the feedback guys ive just received an email of them saying it wont be delivered until after Christmas so i have cancelled the order.

Had the same thing, ordered a game on the 13th of November apparently 3 day delivery. Now they say it won't arrive before christmas.

Similar here, order placed on 19th Nov still got one DVD waiting dispatch. I would cancel it but it is £10 cheaper than anywhere else so I'm prepared to wait. Must be turning northern because I never would have accepted this st in the past.
