Good cooperative games on the PS3?

Does anyone have any recommendations for 2 player coop games on the PS3? My OH is quite into gaming but much prefers coop to vs. Any genre really.

CoD:MW2's co-op mode was really good, loads of different modes/maps to play

Seconded. I played special ops with my girlfriend. Was disappointed to find that Black Ops has no co op mode.

Thirded. Are you sure about Black-Ops? I'm sure it said on the Wikipedia page that it has Co-Op.

Little Big Planet is also good in two-player co-operative mode, and probably nice and cheap now too.

There aren't many with proper co-op campaigns, unfortunately. Resistance 1, Kane & Lynch 1 and 2, Army of Two are the only ones I've played.

Yep, same as the others here. MW2 is pretty good for it. Black Op's has the Zombie mode which is fun & 2 players can play online together on the same team with a split screen. LBP is great for it & LBP 2 is due out in a few weeks too.

Also Band/Guitar Hero stuff is great fun to co-op through the songs, 1 on the guitar & 1 on the bass. Oh & FIFA (I think), you can co-op on that too.

all the lego games are pretty good for some casual co-op-ing.

That's really disappointing. I thought the Co-Op Special Ops on MW2 was fantastic.

personally, I find the zombie mode (and the dead ops mode) in Black Ops to be way better than the special ops stuff in MW2. Sure, zombies are repetitive, but there's something really challenging about it.
